Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I hope that you are all enjoying this extended weekend and remember the meaning of why we celebrate this holiday! Take an extra minute and remember those who we honor this weekend.

Go out of your way and say THANK YOU to the men and women in our military! Give them a hug! It is through their sacrifices and the sacrifices of those who came before them that we live in the greatest country in the world!

Another way that we can help our service men and women and their families is through our unused/expired coupons. Wait!? What did I just say? Yes, I said expired coupons! No, I haven't been out in the sun too long and cooked my noodle! Our overseas military members can used our expired coupons for up to six months past their expiration dates!!! So, don't toss your expired coupons out into the recycling bin (or heaven forbid the trash!) Many of our military families overseas are single income and money can be tight! Let's support our military by sharing some coupon love!

What are the requirements?

Send only manufacturer coupons. (Do NOT send store or restaurant coupons)
Clip Coupons and sort coupons into Food and Non-Food bundles. (See Below)
Do NOT send coupons that are more than 30 days expired since it takes time to distribute.

How do you sort the coupons?

Separate your clipped coupons into 2 categories: Food and Non-Food (Anything that a human can eat for nourishment or calories would be Food. Anything that can not be eaten by humans would be Non-Food)
Label your coupon bundles clearly and try to send the coupon bundles in zip top baggies instead of using paperclips or rubber bands. The zip top bags will keep the coupons safe and dry, plus not catch on anything accidentally during shipping.

Is there a minimum donation?

No! Send as much or as little as you have each month! What I recommend is pulling your expired coupons each week and then at either the beginning or the end of the month send off your package!

Is there a way for my own family or organization to adopt our own base?
