There are two main sources in which to find coupons. First is your local Sunday paper inserts and second is online printable coupons.

Your main online coupon sources will be Redplum, SmartSource, Coupons,com and CouponNetwork

Other sources for coupons would be friends and family, neighbors, coworkers recycling centers etc. You can ask your friends and neighbors to save you their Sunday inserts if they don't use them (heaven forbid!) or after they have clipped whatever they wanted. After you have created a stable stockpile for your family, you can make up a "Thank You" care package for your friends and family who helped you get started with your couponing! Better yet, YOU can teach them to do what you learned and save their family $$$! I have countless time be able to bless my friends with items from my pantry when help was needed without costing any extra to my own family's budget. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it feels to be able to actually make a difference to someone in need.

Couponing is a vehicle to achieve savings for your own family as well as in time afford you the opportunities to help those in need. I will cover this in much greater detail in later steps. For right now, let's focus on you and your family by teaching you today and giving you successes in couponing for your family.

EXTREME Couponing Tip:

You will want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. I recommend investing in multiple copies of the Sunday paper when it's a good coupon insert week. I personally purchase 7 papers (1 for each member of my family, living in my home) and sometimes up to 10 papers. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money, but I have cut our family grocery budget down to 50% of what we used to spend! (That includes deducting the extra for additional Sunday papers!) Some weeks I will save upwards of 75%! THAT is a worth while investment!
