Kroger Couponing 101 Shopping Guide
Things to know before you shop at Kroger:
- Kroger doubles up to and including $0.50 coupons.
- The Troy, MO and Warrenton, MO locations only allow a maximum of 2 identical coupons to double per transaction, per day. Both locations will accept internet coupons provided they scan. Additionally, both stores have placed a limit of 5 identical coupons per transaction, per day. (Note: Troy Kroger will not accept internet printable coupons with free items/B1G1).
- E-Coupons are considered a Manufacturer Coupon. (If you have an e-coupon loaded onto your card it will automatically be applied once your card is scanned. You do not have a option to use a higher value paper coupon if you have an e-coupon on your card. The cashier is not able to remove an e-coupon.
- E- Coupons do not double
E-Coupon Management:
E-Coupons can be managed and removed that are downloaded from the Kroger.com and P&G website by accessing your Kroger Digital Coupons Account.
Cellfire Coupons coupons can not be removed from your card once they are added.
Tips to Maximize your Savings:
- Download coupons as you plan to use them.
- Get an additional Kroger Card under your spouse's name and use that card only for E-Coupons transactions, but use the other card for paper coupon transactions. That way you won't run the risk of having a coupon that you were expecting to double on a transaction not double because you had the E-Coupon loaded onto your card. (I just mark my E-Coupon Kroger Card with permanent marker E-Coupon for quick reference.)
