Here are a few of the highlights:

Dollar General accepts Manufacturer’s and Dollar General Coupons (Including Internet Coupons) that meet the following requirements.

Coupon Requirements:

Coupons MUST have a printed Expiration Date.
Coupons will only be redeemed for items sold at Dollar General of the exact same weight, size, etc.
Dollar General will not accept coupons for FREE items without a purchase. (BOGO FREE are accepted)
Dollar General allows "stacking" of coupons. A maximum of two coupons per product purchased may be redeemed provided neither coupon states that it is not to be combined with other coupons

(Example: (1) Manufacturer's Coupon and (1) Dollar General Coupon without restrictions of use with another coupon may be "stacked" and used on (1) Product)

Dollar General will NOT accept coupons expired coupons, other retailer's coupons or internet coupons without a scan-able barcode or promotion code and remittance address.

No “Cash Back” will be given if the value of the coupon is greater than the purchase price of the item.

(Example: If you have a valid coupon for $3 off a qualifying item that is $2, you will not receive cash back. However, you may apply that “extra” $1 as a “credit” toward your additonal purchases on the same transaction.)

When Dollar General offers in store coupons, "stack" them with manufacturer coupons for extra savings.
Whenever Dollar General offers a coupon, such as $5 off any $25 purchase, be sure the cashier scans the Dollar General coupon FIRST, then you can still use your manufacturer’s coupons for the maximum EXTREME savings!
